A modern twist on the traditional Japanese hagama, the HexClad 1.9 Litre (3-go) Hybrid Rice Pot is our bestselling pot in Japan. We designed it to make stovetop rice perfectly tender and fluffy – every time. But you can use it in multiple ways: this pot is ideal for crispy-bottom rice, Korean nurungji, hotpots, soups, stews and braises.

Yields up to 1.1–1.3 kg of cooked rice from 450g (3 "go") of dry rice
Winged (hagama) design helps contain starchy boil-over. Spherical base promotes even water circulation for tender, fluffy rice.
Includes traditional 1 “go” (a “go” is approximately equivalent to 150g), the historic Japanese rice standard.
Also ideal for crispy-bottom rice, Korean nurungji, hotpots, soups, stews and braises.
Hexagonal steel ridges for durability.
Tri-ply aluminum core heats quickly and evenly for superior temperature control.

HEXAGONAL STEEL PEAKS
A laser-etched, stainless-steel hexagonal design forms a network of ridges that boost searing power.

NONSTICK VALLEYS
Protected between the hexagonal steel peaks are nonstick valleys containing our proprietary TerraBond™ ceramic nonstick coating, which is free from PTFE and forever chemicals, making cleanup a breeze.

Seasoning

On medium-low heat, spread a teaspoon of oil inside the pan for 2-3 minutes. As you cook over time, the performance will enhance from natural re-seasoning.

Heat Guidance

HexClad distributes heat swiftly. Start on lower temperatures; medium with HexClad equals medium-high with others.

Cleaning

Soak in soapy water then scrub.
